About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team at First Bus. As a vehicle maintenance technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in our fleet of public service vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
  • Comply with all HS&E legislation and Group Policies
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required
  • Work a 5-day out of 7 rota, including evenings and weekends

Benefits:

  • Additional 20p per hour for PCV licence holders
  • Opportunity to increase salary by up to £5,000 with additional training

About You:

  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-skill within an engineering environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Aptitude to develop others within the engineering team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors
