Job Type: Temporary until further notice with potential extensions
Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week
Adecco is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and strong construction project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define project requirements and scope of works
• Generate planning and building control submissions
• Monitor suppliers to ensure project delivery aligns with agreed plans
Key Deliverables:
• Create and manage project plans to ensure timely completion
• Oversee building projects to ensure safe and high-quality work
• Provide progress reports to the client
Requirements:
• Strong construction project management skills
• Automotive business experience preferred
• Knowledge of civil engineering, including building construction methods and planning permission process
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering, including steelwork construction and installations
• Understanding of electrical engineering, including power transmission and distribution systems
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Understanding of construction processes and guidelines for effective planning and site management
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple building projects within budget and deadlines
• Financial management of project budgets
