About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan individualized care for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care, including medication management, wound care, and symptom management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of residents.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, promoting their mental health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working in mental health care, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
