Job Title: Head of Financial Markets Portfolio and Performance

Entain Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Markets Portfolio and Performance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of projects under the Markets team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, and providing a holistic view of our roadmap across the super-regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the best transformation approach for our Markets teams (Ladbrokes Coral and Retail) to achieve our ambition to become a product-led organisation.
  • Promote and instill agile methodologies and practices within these Markets teams, ensuring alignment with the wider Performance LT and the ways of working embraced by the dedicated teams for our super-regions.
  • Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement. Drive data-driven decisions across the Markets LT to achieve optimal results.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects within the Markets team, defining and maintaining a clear roadmap for project execution across the super-regions. Work with the Markets LT to prioritise projects and dedicated teams based on business impact and resource availability.

Requirements:

  • Expert in Project/Programme Management, planning, organising, and overseeing tasks, resources, and timelines to achieve specific objectives and deliver successful outcomes within a defined scope.
  • Strong agile experience, proven track record of working and embedding agile methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker, thinking beyond immediate tasks to contribute to long-term strategy and vision.
  • Highly experienced in project and programme finance including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making, to support strategic goals.
  • Extensive experience with Risk Management, the ability to identify, evaluate and manage risks by developing and implementing risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, procedures, and practices.
