Caralex Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial department of a well-established housebuilder based in Southampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large flagship site in the Hampshire area and overseeing a trainee Quantity Surveyor, while reporting to the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting reports, contracts, budgets, and plans.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost control, estimation, planning, and forecasting.
  • Performing cost benefit analysis, dispute resolution, valuations, and value engineering.
  • Providing information to Materials Buyers, the Technical & Sales teams, and other stakeholders as necessary.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and have previous experience as a housebuilding Quantity Surveyor, ready to take on a senior role or seeking a new challenge.
