Deputy Nursery Manager Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Deputy Nursery Manager at Littleinventorsmontessori in West London. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our nursery and supporting the delivery of high-quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in implementing nursery policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Monitor and improve the quality of care and education provided to children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursery curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including child progress files and staff training records.
Person Specification
  • Childcare qualified to Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior childcare role, preferably within a Montessori setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and related legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead others when necessary.
