Seeking an experienced ecologist or senior ecologist looking to take their career to the next level. If you are passionate about ecological assessments and surveys, and want to collaborate with a talented team of experts, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

This role involves leading and delivering high-quality ecological projects, working closely with our multidisciplinary team. Your background should include:

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • For the Senior Ecologist position, a proven track record in managing and delivering ecological projects, including medium to large-scale sites.
  • At least 1 year of experience in ecological consultancy, with a strong focus on conducting surveys, assessments, and project management.
  • Solid knowledge of UK ecology legislation, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in advising clients on Biodiversity Net Gain, understanding and use of the DEFRA Statutory Biodiversity Metric, and production of associated reports and plans.
  • You may have a particular ecological specialism or hold protected species licenses.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM).
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
