Job Description

**Job Title:** Finance Assistant - Treasury Specialist

**Company:** JEM Childcare Solutions

**Location:** Head Office

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing administrative support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze short-term cash-flow forecasts to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Reconcile debtors and customers accounts, and ensure accurate allocation of customer payments.
  • Generate payment runs for approval and ensure all transactions are supported by invoices.
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and approved.
  • Assist in audit responses and provide financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Support payroll activities and provide administrative support to the finance team.
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc reporting tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Xero.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
