We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Scientist to join our Radiotherapy Physics team at the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide scientific support at Medical Physics Expert level and specialize in two areas of radiotherapy physics.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide senior scientific support within the radiotherapy physics service, acting as a Medical Physics Expert under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017.
- Specialize in two areas of radiotherapy physics, with opportunities to contribute to developments and clinical research.
- Participate in research and development activities, teaching, training, and staff development.
- Work flexibly to accommodate clinical need, including bank holiday and weekend working as required.
- MSc in Medical Physics or related subject.
- HCPC registered Clinical Scientist.
- Registered Medical Physics Expert under IR(ME)R in the field of Radiotherapy/Brachytherapy.
- PhD in Radiotherapy Physics or equivalent scientific experience.
- A competitive salary of £52,963 to £59,360 per annum.
