International Relocation Expert

We are currently partnering with an International Relocation provider in their search for a highly skilled Global Relocation Consultant with fluent Mandarin language skills. This position can be based remotely in the UK or hybrid with some travel to London.

As a Global Relocation Consultant, you will provide and coordinate a range of relocation services including home finding, schooling, area orientation, household goods coordination, policy counselling, assignment management, intercultural services, and visa/immigration services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assignees and corporate clients during the relocation process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Utilize your English and Mandarin language skills to communicate and build relationships with assignees, ensuring seamless relocation experiences.
  • Understand all aspects of clients' international policies and programs, advising assignees on the relocation process in line with their relocation program.
  • Coordinate all relocation services, including destination services, HHG moving, temporary accommodation, and immigration, ensuring timely and efficient relocation processes.
  • Negotiate the best deals for assignees, managing the entire move-in and move-out process, including producing or checking tenancy agreements, inventory checks, handling finalization and move-out process, booking cleaners, and negotiating refund of deposit.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and external organizations, ensuring smooth relocation experiences.
  • Manage expenses, arranging and recording bill payments, producing monthly or quarterly expenditure statements, issuing invoices, and following up on payment.
  • Produce area guides and update other documentation as necessary, providing valuable insights to assignees.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the Relocation, Destination Services, or Global Mobility industry is essential.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin speaking skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide high levels of customer service are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling interaction with various levels are necessary.
  • Advanced IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Organizational skills, ability to function as part of a team, and independence are essential.
