We are looking for a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at SSE. As a Technical Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for delivering technical services for the Allegro platform, a critical component of SSE's Energy Markets business.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring, and supporting significant components of the Allegro Platform across production and non-production environments. You will also manage 3rd Party ION relationships and represent SSE at industry conferences and events.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have expert technical knowledge of the Allegro Platform (ETRM) and experience with API integration with 3rd party exchanges. You will also need to have experience with multiple Agile environments and DevOps tools such as Azure, Git/Github, and Terraform.

In return, you can expect an estimated salary of £74,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 34 days annual leave entitlement, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, discounted healthcare, and much more.
