About the Role
Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiology Physicist to lead our Radiation Safety team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of ionising radiation in our diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Medical Physics Expert in Diagnostic Radiology, providing radiation safety advice and services to the Trust and other organisations.
- Manage and provide radiation safety advice and services for all uses of ionising radiation in the Trust.
- Lead on the optimisation of CT scanners and develop protocols for the assessment of new CT technology.
- Train physics staff in CT performance evaluation and provide radiation safety support for all uses of ionising radiation in the Trust.
