Working Patterns: Nights Shifts Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing.

Attracting an Mehanical bias / competent shift mechanical engineer to drive PPM activity on the nights shift, PPM projecvt to deliver.

We are looking for talented and qualified individual who is a great problem solver with continuous improvement ideas that will thrive in a proactive electrical bias front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To service adjust and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner
  • To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
  • Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules
  • Work as part of a team to keep this site running to World Class Standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or mechanical engineering or similar manufacturing
  • Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background

We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a Contract Nights Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, adjusting, and repairing process and production machinery and equipment. You will also examine machinery and equipment to report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements. About the Role:

This is a Contract Nights Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, working on a 3-month ongoing contract with the possibility of being extended. You will be working on nights shifts, Monday to Friday, and will be responsible for carrying out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules. You will work as part of a team to keep the site running to World Class Standards.
