We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter. As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based care to patients, focusing on emergency and unplanned care needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, informed by patient feedback and preferences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Paramedic with current professional registration (HCPC).
  • Proven post-registration ambulance experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
  • Proven experience in Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, or Minor Injuries/Illness Units.

Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
