Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

With a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, you will ensure optimal operation of key campus facilities, delivering high standards of service in line with statutory compliance and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repair of building services equipment.
  • Interpret technical schematics and drawings to perform planned preventative maintenance, rectification of faults, and installation of new equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety, COSHH, and Permit to Work Regulations at all times.
  • Work to deadlines to minimize plant downtime and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Qualification in or knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Time served engineer with at least 5 years' relevant post-experience in a similar environment.
  • Ability to multitask across mechanical, electrical, and building disciplines at a basic level.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to organize others.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Prioritizing own workload and working under own initiative with minimal supervision.
