Renewable energy is a rapidly growing field, and we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at an internationally renowned renewable energy company. As a BESS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing utility scale BESS projects across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience in energy storage or renewable energy, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in electrical design software. Strong problem-solving and project management skills are essential for this role.

We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively with OEMs and stakeholders to align on technical requirements. If you are passionate about renewable energy and have a strong background in electrical engineering, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct electrical designs for BESS projects (DC/AC systems).
  2. Create layouts, schematics, and perform cable sizing and protection design.
  3. Review technical specifications and assess project risks.
  4. Collaborate with OEMs and stakeholders to align on technical requirements.
  5. Provide support during construction and ensure designs are executed accurately.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in energy storage or renewable energy.
  2. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  3. Proficiency in electrical design software and knowledge of UK/international standards.
  4. Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  5. UK driving license required.
