About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Road and Estates Adoptions Manager to join our team at Bloor Homes - Design & Technical. This role will involve coordinating the tendering process, analysing costs, and placing orders with our Land Department and Commercial Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with statutory authorities and planning/highway departments to achieve the adoption of areas/apparatus.
  • Ensuring all sub-contract labour complies with Bloor Homes Health & Safety policies.
  • Managing the completion of all relevant paperwork from receipt of instruction through to adoption of works.
  • Keeping accurate records of all costs incurred and liaising with the Commercial Department as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Background in the construction industry and in particular road construction.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to communicate with Local Authorities / Solicitors and Customers alike.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Budget Management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines to meet targets.
