About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at Antony, a beautiful National Trust property in Cornwall. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of horticulture and ensuring the garden is safe and enjoyable for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain the garden's appearance and health through regular checks, weeding, pruning, and mulching
* Operate machinery such as hedge cutters, leaf blowers, lawnmowers, and tractors
* Assist with propagation, cutting flowers for the house, preparing plants for sale, and tree safety work
* Collaborate with the garden team to design and restore garden areas

Requirements

* Enthusiastic horticulturist with experience in hard landscaping
* Knowledgeable about plants and able to identify potential issues
* Experienced with machinery and able to perform routine maintenance
* Full driving license and ability to manage a demanding outdoor role
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
