About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various needs, including physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse, and autism.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Social Support - Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various clubs and leisure activities.
  • Medical Support - Administering and monitoring medication.
  • Personal Care - Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, including assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, arranging visits with professionals, and assisting with incontinence care.
  • Practical Support - Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
