Strategic Governor for Fitness and Wellbeing Organisation

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chairperson to lead our board and drive the growth and development of our fitness and wellbeing organisation in the North-West.
About You:
You will be a strategic thinker with a collaborative approach, able to motivate and lead the wider community through periods of change. You should have a strong understanding of governance and complex environments, and be able to effectively work with local councils, communities, and the CEO and executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the board through periods of growth and change
- Develop and implement effective governance strategies
- Work closely with local councils, communities, and stakeholders to drive growth and development
- Conduct annual performance reviews of directors
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the organisation
