Job Opportunity: Systems Engineer Contract

Job Type: Contract, Outside IR35

Location: On-site

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for board bring-up of the FPGA based SoC, getting it to boot and to get the RTOS up and running and passing all expected tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Board bring-up and validation of the FPGA based SoC
  • Code reviews and amendments in C
  • Debugging and troubleshooting of the system
  • Collaboration with the development team to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in low-level embedded software and hardware
  • Proficiency in C programming and experience with proprietary RTOS
  • Knowledge of ARM architectures and experience with interrupts and hardware registers
  • Familiarity with Linux or Zephyr platforms
  • Understanding of digital hardware and experience with oscilloscopes and/or logic analysers
