Key Stage 2 Class Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team at a Primary school in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS2.

  • A mixed year group class awaits a dedicated and skilled educator who can implement engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, ensures the safety of all students, and differentiates the delivery of learning.

Evaluating pupil progress through various assessments and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey is also a key aspect of this role. Strong communication skills are essential to maintain good relationships with pupils, other staff members, and parents/carers.

Requirements
  • Recent and relevant teaching experience in Education.
  • Possession of a PGCE and/or equivalent Teaching Qualification valid for teaching in the UK with QTS.
  • Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS2.
  • A valid DBS or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Full-time availability and ability to provide professional references.

With a full-time contract available and potential for permanent status, this position offers a competitive salary package, estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on MPS3-MPS6 scale, taking into account the location and requirements of the role.
