Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computer Science professional to join our Digital team at Chesterfield College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for leading the Computer Science A-Level provision and teaching within the Digital department for full-time courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the Computer Science A-Level provision and teach within the Digital department for full-time courses.
- Teach across a range of related courses within the Directorate and act as a personal tutor to an identified number of student groups.
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials, including lesson plans and assessments.
- Contribute to the development of the Digital team's strategic direction and goals.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of computer science, programming, networking, and infrastructure, computer hardware and software development/design.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development, preferably in a further education setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas to students and colleagues.
- Strong computing/IT knowledge in current and emerging technologies, including maths.
