Job Title: Collections Officer

Location: Prestatyn, North Wales

Salary: £24,472.50 for Full Time + up to £3,000 bonus per annum

Shifts: Full Time (37.5 hours), Monday-Friday

We are seeking a skilled Collections Officer to join our Revenue Assurance team based in Prestatyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating monthly aged debt reports to share with key private Medical Insurers and collecting on aged debt accounts from UK and foreign Private Medical Insurers, foreign Embassies and Self Pay patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound telephone calls to major insurance companies to ensure they have the necessary correspondence to assess high value accounts.
  • Interact frequently with facility staff at all levels, with some travel required.
  • Identify and escalate any revenue having an adverse effect on collections activity to the Team Leader & Cash and Collections Manager.
  • Resolve underpaid claims relating to bulk issues identified with specific Insurers.
  • Contact Insurer payer companies via phone or correspondence and initiate requests for payment.
  • Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.
