About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at VW Wirral. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and repair, utilizing your technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Utilize technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Inspect components for wear and tear
  • Repair and replace parts
  • Check vehicle subsystems
  • Support other technicians in the workshop

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Full UK driving license
  • Current valid MOT license (advantageous but not essential)
  • Proficiency in the use of modern diagnostic equipment
  • Capability of working to the highest quality standards and efficiency targets
  • Great team player and communication skills

What You'll Do Day to Day:

You will be working on a variety of tasks, including vehicle maintenance and repair, utilizing your technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve faults. You will also be working on electrical and mechanical systems, inspecting components for wear and tear, and repairing and replacing parts.
