Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analysis Engineer to join our team at GE Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for executing the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely completion and meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering organizations and contribute to the development of engine systems and designs.
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication of complex engineering concepts.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and tasks, consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Resolve issues within current technical knowledge base and judgment, consulting more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in a relevant engineering position.
Desired Characteristics
  • Fundamental understanding of turbomachinery design and previous experience in design of aviation components.
  • Proficient with Ansys and Unigraphics, with strong technical aptitude and applicable engineering tools and systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively within an organization, with established project management skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Documented experience as a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and driving solutions, with a humble and transparent approach to work.
