Job Title: IPAF Operator

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver to expand their skills and become a Driver/Operator in our Specialist Vehicle Mount division. As a Driver/Operator, you will drive the vehicle-mounted access equipment to site and operate in line with the customer's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate truck-mounted mobile elevation platforms safely and efficiently.
  • Drive the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, as appropriate to the category of license held.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and ancillary equipment.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation regarding safety and working time.
  • Site and set up the machine correctly in accordance with training and operator's manual.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.
  • Relay customer queries to depot staff as required.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure current test and thorough examination reports are carried out.
Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
  • A valid HGV Class 2 license.
  • A head for working at heights.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including some nights and regular weekends.
