About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at ProTalent Limited. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and accounts services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver audit files in accordance with UK GAAP and ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Plan and deliver audit assignments, including preparation of limited company accounts for review by managers/directors.
  • Supervise junior staff during audits and review their work to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Manage client communication effectively and proactively monitor assignment budgets.
  • Prepare corporation tax computations for review and personal/partnership tax returns.
  • Manage accounts preparation, including management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Highlight any deficiencies in client records or areas for concern to managers/directors and recommend actions for improvement.
  • Mentor junior accounts and audit trainees to ensure their development and growth.
Requirements
  • A strong academic background and experience working within an accounting practice environment.
  • Unquestionable integrity, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong logical and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility and organization in managing your own time to deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a highly professional team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Professional and friendly communication, with a dedication to technical competence and ongoing professional development.
