Director of Geographic Studies

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Geography. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the education sector.

About the Role:

• This permanent, full-time position involves leading a team of Geography teachers, developing and delivering a comprehensive curriculum, and organizing field trips and extracurricular activities.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring student progress, implementing interventions when necessary, and collaborating with other department heads to ensure cross-curricular links.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education or Geography
• Leadership or management qualification

Compensation and Benefits:
