As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, providing strategic advice to our senior leadership team, and managing a team of Finance Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the College's annual budget-setting process
- Provide long-term financial planning support for the College
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with budget managers and senior leaders, offering expert financial advice and support
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of Finance Business Partners
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with expertise in financial planning, management reporting, and leadership within a finance function. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders, combined with your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, will be key to your success in this role.
Requirements- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable practical knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and analysis
- Proven capability in leading and managing a finance team
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software packages
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
