About the Role

Ardmore is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Director in the production of monthly management accounts and analysis of company performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Client Services team to prioritize and manage billing to meet month-end close deadlines.
  • Take full ownership of the invoicing process from review of estimates to issuance of invoice to clients.
  • Ensure that all employee time, expenses, and other third-party costs are accurately reflected against the appropriate projects and billed correctly.
  • Develop and maintain the Company's fixed asset register.
  • Process and reconcile invoices, expenses, bank statements, and credit cards.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate onboarding of new clients and suppliers onto the finance system.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of prepayments and accruals.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasting & utilization reports and provide key information and insights in support of monthly board packs.
  • Assist with the preparation of end-of-year accounts.
  • Help to improve efficiency in relation to the overall financial department by identifying and embracing new technology or ways of working.
  • Having a working knowledge of key tasks undertaken by colleagues in the Finance Team to provide holiday cover as required.
Requirements
  • Educated to at least GCSE O' Level in English and Mathematics.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant.
  • IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work quickly, methodically, and logically.
  • Good analytical approach to work.
  • Able to work to rigid deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Oral and written proficiency and completely fluent in English.
  • Dependable.
  • Self-starter.
  • Confident.
  • Interrogative.
  • Helpful and courteous.
  • Sociable.
Desirable
  • Additional finance/accounts qualifications.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a Sales Ledger role.
  • Knowledge of Adserve.
  • Previous Reception / front of house experience.
