Job Title: 1:1 Tutor

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 education support to students in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students who require additional support. As a 1:1 tutor, you will work with students who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC). Your role will involve providing educational sessions face-to-face with students at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.

You will need to plan resources around the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science. Your ability to build effective working relationships with children and manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies will be essential in this role.

Requirements:
  • QTS or Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/SEMH experience
  • Highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children
  • Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies
