Job Title: Production Shift Lead

Job Summary:

The Production Shift Lead will be responsible for leading a team of production operatives to achieve daily production targets and deadlines. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our food manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Train staff on procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues swiftly to maintain seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  3. Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met, adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
  4. Oversee production processes, identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency and productivity.
  5. Collaborate with other departments/shifts to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  6. Work alongside operatives to ensure targets are adhered to and quality standards are met.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a team leader role, ideally within the food production industry. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and team management skills, knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures, and excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and possess strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
