About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team as a Hip and Knee Specialist Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient care in outpatient clinics, fracture clinics, and theatres, while also developing and improving our orthopaedic services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and decision-making skills, with experience in managing trauma and orthopaedic patients. They will be expected to work closely with colleagues and managers to develop pathways and ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have full GMC registration, excellent communication skills, and experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. A higher degree or national fellowship training is desirable, but not essential.
