Ford and Slater Limited, a leading DAF Truck dealer group, is seeking a skilled Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join their team at their Chesterfield depot.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a flexible approach to work. As a Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Placing inbound parts into the correct locations
  • Identifying and picking outbound parts for distribution
  • Controlling, packaging, and data inputting the return of parts to suppliers
  • Maintaining the stores in a tidy and organized state, with a high standard of location accuracy
  • Loading correct orders for customer delivery
  • Delivering parts to customers within the geographical area on a timely basis
  • Providing high levels of customer service at all times
  • Collecting customer returns as required
  • Promoting sales of parts
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A flexible approach to work
  • Previous experience working within a Stock Control / Warehouse environment or similar role
  • Computer literacy with the ability to learn appropriate systems and software
  • Accurate data input and attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence (ideally with no penalty points)
What We Offer:

Ford and Slater Limited offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.44, 22 days paid holiday (plus statutory) rising to 25 days with service, and excellent DAF Training & development opportunities.
