About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team in the Modern Desktop Product Group. As a key member of our End User Services team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering new technical services for Kingfisher group.

This role is a blend of design and project-oriented work, with an expected 80/20 delivery/support workload split. You will work closely with our designers and architects to achieve programme consistency and provide technical governance across projects, BAU, and related SIPs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a 3rd-line technical support role, designing and delivering technical services within complex Enterprise environments, and recognised as an SME for relevant product groups.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering new technical services for Kingfisher group
  • Providing technical governance across projects, BAU, and related SIPs
  • Engaging with wider designers and architects to achieve programme consistency
  • Advising colleagues/customers on feasibility and risks of potential solutions
  • Creating infrastructure designs and performing solution evaluations
