The AA is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our members. Your day will be filled with varied tasks, including responding to breakdowns, performing repairs, and maintaining our fleet of vehicles. You will work independently and as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weather conditions. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as excellent communication skills. You will be required to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Respond to breakdowns and provide technical assistance to customers
* Perform repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

**Requirements:**

* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications
* Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
* Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
