Job Title: Production Assistant

Guidant Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team in Mansfield. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our print/mail services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of various finishing equipment, including Neopost mailing machines, Paragon pressure sealers/folding machines, and Duplo booklet makers/finishers.
  • Operate and maintain specified machines to the expected standards, ensuring high-quality output and minimal downtime.
  • Complete consumables stock takes for the machines as required, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain machinery to required standards of housekeeping, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Ensure product quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Assist in the hand-enclosing team if necessary, manually inputting letters into envelopes.
  • Adhere to all process standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a print/mail environment or similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic PC literacy, with ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:

This role will involve manual handling, and safety footwear is required. Rotating shifts will be worked, with a requirement to work both morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday).
