Are you a motivated and experienced Clinical Scientist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Safety Expert to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

About the Job

This is a fixed-term 12-month post to provide maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and developing a comprehensive independent commissioning, quality assurance, and calibration programme for all ionising radiation equipment throughout the region.

They will also be involved in the daily allocation of clinical scientists and technical staff to specific equipment surveys, re-allocating staff in response to sickness, annual leave, etc. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

We are offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and excellent training opportunities.
