Bid Manager Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join their expanding team. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bidding process for diverse and complex projects in the ground engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the bidding process for ground engineering projects
  • Work closely with the Pre-Construction Team to win new contracts and drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Estimating and Commercial teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in remediation, enabling works, earthworks, civil engineering, or groundworks
  • Candidates with operational experience in remediation or enabling works, looking to transition into bid management, are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, with a talent for negotiation and a proactive, win-win mindset
  • Relevant qualifications in civil or structural engineering are preferred
