Job Description

Mechanical Maintenance Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Proftech Talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work on motors, drives, gear motors, and reduction gearboxes, as well as overhead cranes.
  • Collaborate with the departmental engineer to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 12 hour shifts with a half hour lunch break.

Requirements:

  • C+G Part 3 or ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Strong competency in hydraulic and pneumatic drawings and fault finding.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
