Job Title: Senior Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in East Anglia. The successful candidate will work on large infrastructure schemes, initially focusing on road projects in Harwich and Leiston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake day-to-day setting out duties with minimal supervision.
  • Manage and monitor all site sample/performance testing requirements and maintain records in line with the contract specification.
  • Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements.
  • Assist the site QS/Project Manager with providing relevant information for records and claims purposes.
  • Develop and maintain relations with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the company's procedures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in setting out infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and earthworks.
  • Proficiency in working with Leica/Geomax equipment and transferring information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment.
  • A good understanding of ITPs and quality assurance processes.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the Eastern region.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
