About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team at Apple Inc. as a Swift debugger developer. You will work closely with the Swift and LLVM open-source projects to build out support for the Windows platform in LLDB and debug information generation for Windows binaries.

This role involves improving the Swift debugging experience on Windows using LLDB. Your contributions will enable the use of LLDB in various contexts beyond traditional debugging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Swift and LLVM open-source projects to enhance LLDB's capabilities.
  • Implement features and fix issues related to debug information generation and LLDB's expression evaluator.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent software engineering skills, including testing and debugging expertise. Experience with C++ programming and development for/on Windows is highly desirable. If you have a passion for contributing to open-source projects, we encourage you to apply.
