About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quantitative Research Lead to join our team at Manchester Met University. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the curation and analysis of existing and new datasets from a quantitative perspective, evaluating programme efficacy using various metrics and health outcomes, supervising and mentoring post-doctoral research assistants, publishing high-quality research outputs, and capturing external research income.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quantitative data analysis, preferably in public health and physical activity contexts. They will also have proficiency in statistical analyses using software tools such as SPSS, R, or Python, ability to develop predictive models and perform hypothesis testing relevant to community health and fitness initiatives, and experience in leading a small team and integrating into a wider structure.
