Job Role

We're seeking an experienced Lettings Consultant to join our team. As a Lettings Consultant, you will handle all aspects of lettings prior to a tenancy commencing, working closely with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure exceptional relationships and communication.

You will be responsible for managing inquiries from tenants and landlords, advertising properties, registering applicants, arranging viewings, conducting viewings, and negotiating offers between landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of lettings prior to a tenancy commencing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Ensure exceptional tenant and landlord experience
  • Manage communications via phone, email, live chat, and WhatsApp
  • Maintain knowledge of lettings compliance and conduct Right to Rent checks
  • Receive and process new enquiries from tenants and landlords
  • Advertise properties and proactively contact potential tenants
  • Register applicants, arrange viewings, conduct viewings, and provide feedback to landlords
  • Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants
  • Assist the Asset Management team during the busy changeover period
  • Participate in marketing events

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 6-12 months of experience in lettings, either from estate agency, PBSA, student HMO's, or BTR
  • Alternatively, be a strong sales professional looking to transition into the property industry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to see tasks through from start to finish
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to work
