About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our global immigration team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues in Global Tax services to deliver practical global mobility advice with a business focus.

Our global immigration network provides immigration services in over 40 countries, including work permits, technology-driven business visa support, document procurement, and legalisation services. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, undertaking casework and case management for UK immigration applications, and contributing to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Undertake casework and case management for UK immigration applications
  • Be involved in the financial and risk management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new / existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivery of large projects that require
  • Train, coach and supervise junior members of the team
  • Keep up to date with UK immigration legislation
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have previous UK corporate immigration experience
  • Must be fluent in Japanese with strong client service skills and a collaborative approach to working
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage, mentor and encourage junior staff within the team
  • Ability to confidentially deal with re-prioritising competing situations, people and requirements
  • Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own caseload and time effectively
  • Clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication skills that do not require review
  • Primarily a team player but able to work under own initiative
  • Proficient in use of standard office software
