Construction Planning Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planning Expert to join our team at Sir Robert McAlpine. As a 4D Planner/Visualiser, you will play a key role in assisting in the development and verification of construction sequences, logistics, and timings via 4D techniques.

  • Assist in the development, verification, and updating of construction sequences, logistics, and timings via 4D or similar techniques.
  • Overlay the planned position with the actual position at defined intervals.
  • Produce images and animations to clearly illustrate and communicate project progress.
  • Promote the use of 4D techniques through training and presentations.
  • Champion the business philosophy by collaborating with internal departments.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work on complex major projects, contributing to the success of our team. You will be responsible for delivering Synchro Open Viewer training and presentations, as well as promoting the use of 4D techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of planning techniques, high-level CAD modelling experience, and expert knowledge of relevant modelling tools. They will also be confident in their ability to deliver training and presentations, possess excellent communication skills, and have a flexible working attitude.
