Automotive Technologist

£36,000 + Bonus (OTE)

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technologist to join our prestigious luxury car brand dealership in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults to the highest standards.

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex vehicle faults.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology introduced on our vehicle range and apply this knowledge to diagnose and repair faults.
• Liaise with colleagues and supervisors for advice in situations beyond work specifications.
• Verify work quality through diagnostic equipment and road testing, working closely with Service Advisors.
• Maintain accurate service documentation (job sheets, PDIs, service reports) according to brand standards, warranty, and site requirements.
• Conduct regular vehicle health checks and produce high-quality CitNOW videos (or equivalent).

• Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Able to work to the highest quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possession of a fully qualified UK driving license.
• Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferred but not essential.
• VOSA-approved MOT testers have an advantage but are not essential.
• Holding Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent is mandatory.
