Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analyst to join our client's team in the Cardiff area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP, particularly in PP and MM logistics, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale global projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the global SAP implementation team to ensure seamless integration with local processes.
  2. Identify and address gaps between global processes and local needs, recommending changes where necessary.
  3. Bridge the integration between production systems and SAP, ensuring accurate data flow and system alignment.
  4. Provide operational support to users, working closely with functional super users to troubleshoot issues.
  5. Act as a business requirements collector, filtering requests to ensure changes to the Global Design are only made when absolutely necessary.
  6. Participate in the change board, ensuring local business needs are aligned with global design.
  7. Offer post go-live support for SAP implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term success.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years' experience in SAP and IT within manufacturing companies.
  2. Strong expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management), particularly in logistics.
  3. Experience with at least one full life cycle SAP project.
  4. Technical background in integrating SAP with Legacy systems and managing data.
  5. Training experience in SAP processes and applications.
  6. Basic knowledge of SAP FI, CO, and SD modules is a plus.
