Procurement Director

At Niyaa People Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our Central Procurement Service, Compliance, and Data Teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to drive growth, efficiency, and value within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Public and Private Sector Experience: Leverage your expertise to develop a world-class procurement function that collaborates with teams across procurement, finance, marketing, sales, and supply chain.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize your analytical skills to support strategic growth and drive continuous improvement within the social housing and local authority sectors.
- Change Management & Consultancy: Lead transformation and guide the team through change, ensuring a seamless transition to new processes and systems.
- Lead and manage procurement services, compliance, and data teams to deliver growth, efficiency, and value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Drive contract and project management, as well as manage dynamic workloads, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members to foster a culture of collaboration and open communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimize procurement processes.
- Proven experience in procurement at a senior level, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Expertise in contract and project management, as well as managing dynamic workloads.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on developing and empowering team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
